Long Term Award

The Engineering Council of South Africa is a statutory body that includes the regulation of practices of engineers and oversees the registration of professional engineers.  The Professional Advisory Committee of each engineering discipline has recognised peers nominated through their representative voluntary association, in this case the Southern African Institute for Industrial Engineering (SAIIE).  The PAC evaluates and interviews prospective candidate engineers and recommends them for professional status if they meet the requirements of a professional engineer.  Michelle has been a member of the PAC Industrial from 1998 to 2016.
